Owen worked from home and had a Dynasty Financial Partners video interview at 11:30 for an AI Engineer role with Maddi Straton, and got a follow-up note from Ben Westbrook at Chase about a good conversation. Michaela left for an overnight trip chaperoning her 8th graders to Universal Studios, and the two of them traded a few "miss you" texts before she headed out; she also gave him a heads-up that a dish soap delivery would be at the apartment.

In the evening Owen picked up Elvis and they got dinner at Teak in St. Pete (two charges, $54.89 and $47.18) before heading to the rec deck. Dinner ran heavy — a 16 oz NY strip, a side of Texas Roadhouse chili, and a 69 oz Michelob Ultra — capping a 2,940 kcal day against 6,462 steps and a gym session. He also arranged a Mother's Day delivery to his parents' house and texted his mom Gabriela in Hungarian about it; she suggested túró torta (cheesecake) as the preferred future pick.
