Today I woke up and worked. In the middle of my workday I brought my car in for service to fix the peeling fake wood trim. I was hoping maybe they could replace the wood trim with something that looks nicer but no such luck. While I was waiting for my car to be ready I walked across a busy road to Planet Fitness and signed up. I did leg day there.

Planet Fitness is a weird place. The impression of accepting those who don’t workout was off putting to me. Not because acceptance is bad, but it felt like pandering. There were more young people than I expected for noon on a Wednesday.

After work I mailed my watch to the highest bidder from eBay. There was one clerk at USPS and she had a very loud powerful voice. It took longer than I would have liked to get my package mailed but it wasn’t her fault.

Then we went home and cook a steak on the landlord’s blackstone grill. I had a beer or two and we hung out with the landlords. It was nice to chat with them, they’re very nice people.

Later we brought the volleyball to Sugar sand park in the hopes of being able to play a casual game. No such luck, there was ever other sport but no volleyball. We then went home having walked around the park but played nothing. It was crawling with little kids. And there was a super cool playground with a carousel beside it.
