Today I woke up late because of yesterday’s chaos. Yesterday Michaela failed to take her ink pen out of her pants when we did laundry so we had to drive 30 mins round trip to Walgreens to get the supplies to scrub the landlord’s dryer for no less than 2 hours. It was exhausting. So woke up late as a result. I worked and while I was working I had a “what am I doing here?” moment. I felt cooped up in this pool house with sun all around me but here I am indoors on my laptop on the couch. I worked on the dashboard, played some video games, watched lots of YouTube. After work Michaela and I walked around by the beach while was rather peaceful minus the super loud cars that are pervasive in Florida.
