First we get up and I take Michaela to teacher fest. She says it was somewhat informative but she made a friend which was great. I work a half day which was low stress. Then we go have dinner at a local American restaurant. It was early, like 4pm, but still it felt strange how empty it was. Maybe strange isn’t the right word, maybe I should say eerie.

After dinner we walk down to the beach. We look at the water briefly and then we decide to ride Freebee back to our hotel. We meet a Texan lesbian couple in the Freebee that want to do shots with us at a local bar. So we go with them plus another couple and then we go with one of the bartenders from that bar to another bar. We have some more drinks.

Then us, and the lesbian Texans who happen to be staying at the same hotel, go to the hotel pool with us. We hangout at the pool for a bit. Then just me and Michaela go meet up with Michaela’s friend that she met at teacher fest at a speakeasy. It was ladies night so I guess women got free drinks. It was pretty loud and crowded. I got a little more drunk than I’d end up wishing I was.
