Today the high was 101 F. It didn't bother me, we have air conditioning. I did half my run in the morning, we'll see whether I finish the other half. I'm hoping to repair the curb damage I did to my car but Amazon might be facing delays related to the heat. Michaela is arriving in a few hours in Newark coming off of a Greyhound. After I pick her up we plan to meet up with Chadwick for a bit. Michaela failed her teacher exam which really took the wind out of my sails. It was disheartening because the exam is so expensive, it's such a huge time commitment to get to the test center let alone to study for it. And she absolutely must pass these exams or else she loses her career. So it's high stakes and this was a punch in the gut for me.
