Today we woke up and I helped my grandma set up her new iPhone, partially. She forgot her Apple ID password. I tried to help her create a new one, given that resetting one’s password appears to be impossible. However creating a new Apple ID was also impossible. I ended up taking an old Australian Apple ID that I created for downloading plants vs zombies games and ceding it to her. I helped her reset her Verizon password. Now she just needs to go to Verizon and transfer her phone number and cellular connectivity.

Then I had a series of emotional and exhausting calls with my mom and dad. Leo had a relapse having ordered some industrial chemical the body converts to GHB. My dad is taking appropriate action but is also drinking heavily and communicating very poorly. My mom wants to take no action. I’m trying to direct them both on the right path. Not sure how much success I will have.

We went to the beach, hung out by the pool, and we grilled some chicken thighs. Then we hung out with our friends Jordan and Lalile. We ate and drank at their favorite bar, which I also like, and then we went to our apartment and we played Katan. Katan was fun. It felt good to spend time with friends.
