Today we woke up and eventually ran. I did a shorter run than normal because I had to take Michaela to her dentist appointment. It was a bit stressful because she lost track of time and was at the gym when she was supposed to be ready to go. So I picked her up at the gym but I forgot to pack a change of clothes, so she went to the dentist in her wet sweaty gym clothes. I felt bad about that. Then I drove home, had my morning meeting, packed some clothes for her, and drove to go pick her up while I attended a meeting from the car. Then we drove to her work and I dropped her off. Then I had another meeting to attend. It was hectic. We decided to see the movie The Weight tonight after work. I brought beer, steak, and popcorn. For the popcorn I ran out of oil so I had to use butter. It didn't work that well, the butter flavor clashed with the flavacol and it burned much more easily. At the movie it was all older people, probably because we saw it on the earlier side. I thought that would be better but it was worse. To start, there was a couple in our seats. They explained that they saw there friends and decided to sit there. I considered giving them our seats to stay in but I had booked in advance the best seats in the theater. It was a little awkward because the wife was surprised and confused about why they had to move. In the end they didn't give us a hard time. The people to the left of Michaela were super irritating. The woman had hearing impairment so she had a hearing aid but she wasn't wearing it. But she didn't turn it off either. So throughout the movie we heard the audio through her hearing aid which was distracting. And most annoyingly she constantly asked her husband what the characters were saying. It got so bad that I went to the staff and asked them to say something. They did, and after that point they only spoke a few more times. I cannot for the life of me understand how people could have so little regard for disrupting others in a public space. I would never a million years be okay with disrupting others. Then we charged the car and went home.
